Refund policy

You can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date, for any reason — including simply changing your mind. No explanation needed.

This applies to your first payment on a monthly or annual plan. Later renewals can also be refunded within 30 days of that renewal charge if you meant to cancel and didn't get round to it — just ask. We email you 7 days before every renewal with the date and amount, so a surprise charge shouldn't happen.

Refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. There are two easy ways to ask:

• Go to paddle.net and enter the email address you used at checkout. You'll find your invoices there and can request a refund or manage your subscription directly.
• Or email us at hello@keepcert.co.uk — tell us the email address on the order and we'll arrange it with Paddle for you. We aim to reply within one business day.

Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method. Banks usually show it within 3–10 business days.

If you just want to stop future payments, you can cancel at any time from Account settings — one click, one confirmation, no email required. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep your paid features until the end of the period you've paid for. Cancelling on its own doesn't trigger a refund; if you'd also like your money back, follow the steps above.

Your records aren't deleted when you cancel. You can still see everything you've added, and you can start a plan again whenever you like.

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer in the UK or EU, including any cancellation rights you have under consumer law. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are also covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy.
